What inspired me?
Understanding that everyone needs a guru, mentor or simply put someone who can listen and ask the right questions that push our limits.
How I achieved it? Knowing my strengths and weaknesses and playing accordingly, having high aspirations and always keeping an eye on the direction, meeting and hanging with a few people with high standards and finally surrendering knowing that the universe always has the best for me!
What motivates you to volunteer as a mentor?
Remembering that I could have done with it when I was growing up and also knowing that the world today has its unique challenges and the youth need a non judgemental yet an accountable partner that can see beyond the obvious and ask the right questions. I Believe I am that person...
How have you benefited from mentoring?
An endless list here...but I'll summarize it by saying that being able to see the world through the eyes of a 20 year old has made me question so many assumptions I make and it helps me be more playful and less serious about life... both of which I can do more off!
